The boom around cloud computing has reached to crown. Some professionals believe it’s an absolutely new trend representing the next level of the internet evolution. Others believe it’s hype, as it uses long established computing technologies. This paper analyze cloud computing technology from different points of view and presents the findings in order to figure out the benefits and risks of cloud computing and the best way to use this technology.

“Cloud computing” is a buzzword that’s tossed around a lot these days to describe the direction in which information infrastructure seems to be moving. The concept, quite simply, is that vast computing resources will reside somewhere out there in the ether (rather than in your computer room) and we’ll connect to them and use them as needed.

Cloud computing comes into focus only when you think about what IT always needs: a way to increase capacity or add capabilities on the fly without investing in new infrastructure, training new personnel, or licensing new software. Cloud computing encompasses any subscription-based or pay-per-use service that, in real time over the Internet, extends IT’s existing capabilities [1].
